Do You Sleep With A Heated Blanket?

I’m glad i live in a country where the weather is warm al year round and i dont need to shop for items like this heated blanket. I’ll be roasted in no time if i were to use one here. But for my friends, they cannot do without one during winter. Each time i ask them what it feels like to sleep under a heated blanket, they will tell me to go pay them a visit during Winter.

Maybe, just maybe. But the thing is, i cannot stand low temperatures. Have you slept under a heated blanket before? What does it feel like? Is it heavy?

The lines are still very slow and it’s difficult to even get a post published. Let’s just say, i can hit the publish button, and still have plenty of time go off somewhere to get coffee and also, play a round or two Mario Kart online, lo. Can you imagine that. believe you me when i say it’s really THAT depressingly slow. Boring eh. That’s why i couldnt be bothered to sit here for the past two weeks. Even the files that i’ve been downloading since last night are still on the list, with some at less than 50% downloaded… Uggghhh.

Hubby asked to go play with the kids or do something else instead of pulling my hair out over the dreadful internet lines. I told him to take the kids go shopping as the festive crowd have all gone back to work, lol. Retail therapy really does help a lot when it comes to de-stress. I told him to lookout for UGG boots. Have you seen any of them around here. I saw them at an online store and hope to find them here. If not, i may need to get them online. I know it’s kinda warm here to be wearing UGG boots, but who cares. I think my kids will look cute in them, what say you??

I just got back from a nice lunch. Got up rather late this noon and had to rush off without any food. As we had lunch at the mall, naturally, we also ended up shopping, lol. What’s new, huh. I know the economy is not going to improve anytime soon, but what the heck. Everything is so cheap here. I only buy items that are at 50 to 70% off list price. A branded Tee with a normal price tag of 100 bucks now cost 30 bucks only. How to resist. I bought a dozen for my kids and got some discount vouchers for future purchases. I still get more savings on my next shopping trip. Win-win situation for both consumers and retailer.

Well, i’m not splurging, k. My kid has outgrown most of his clothes and need new ones. If not, i wont buy him so many at one go. The younger one can wear hand-me-downs, poor thing. But that doesnt mean i wont buy him a few pieces if i come across a good deal. So, be a smart shopper and dont overspend. Chinese New Year is about three weeks away and i guess there are many places on SALE now. Be on the look out for good buys. Check all the merchandise properly for defects. It’s very common to end up with defective goods as everyone’s snatching away at everything they see without checking first.

For those of you using credit cards, be careful with it. It’s a very convenient piece of plastic to have when out shopping, but can make a huge dent in your personal finances if you arent careful with it. And make sure you make your repayment on time and in full as interests incurred on credit cards are very high in the long run. I had a few friends who busted their credit limit during the recent Christmas Sale. They are now complaining and worried as to how to settle their bill when their credit card statement arrives.

Dont be like them, k. Sometimes, it only takes a few swipes of the credit card to get you into deep financial disaster. In the event you find yourself in debt and have difficulty making repayments, it’s best you get yourself some Credit Counseling fast. Dont allow yourself to fall deeper into financial difficulties. Take the first step to get your finances back in shape. Dont let it ruin your life as it take s long time to rebuild a good credit history again.

With Each Click Of My Mouse….

Have you any idea how long it takes to publish a blog post these past few days? Let’s just say with each click of my mouse, i can go to the loo, make myself a nice hot beverage, comes back to my room, have a round or two or Mario Kart, come back to my pc, and the page is still loading, niamah. Sometimes, the wait is so long that i have forgotten what i blog about in the first place and have to retrace my thoughts. Blogging can really be depressing when the internet lines suck. When will it ever end???? BAHHHHHHH…

How To Locate World Maps In LocoRoco2

Want to locate world maps in LocoRoco 2 but no idea how to. With the first LocoRoco, i had to sit in front of the pc with the map turned on, lol. Now, you just need to hit the Start button, then press the triangle button and you can view your map and locate all your “orange flowers” and wateva you need to collect. You can even summon Mui-mui to locate them for you for a price, of course: 1000 pickories for each “orange flower”. That’s what my kid calls it. But how to ge thte Map to show up, you may ask. Well, you just need to collect 100 notes to get your map. Have fun with LocoRoco2

Information On Gym Flooring

I’ve been quite active on Facebook lately. Found that it increases my site traffic quite a fair bit each time i post a link up there. I seldom add friends to my network, but i may do more of that from now onwards. Not that i like social traffic much but i do have ads on some sites that brings in money from impressions. It’s a win-win situation for me as my readers and friends do benefit from the links i post on Facebook.

Facebook can be quite fun, you know. I’ve been able to connect with many of my old school and classmates. The other day, i found out that my friend’s girl won her school’s Gymnastic competition.When i was young, i begged my parent to let me take up Gymnastics but my requests fell on deaf ears. They both insisted that it’s a dangerous sports back then. After a long chat with my friend, i learned that it’s a very safe sports to take up and also very good for the kids.

The Gymnasium at her girl’s school has very high quality Gym Flooring material. She asked me to consider allowing my kids to take up Gymnastics next time. That, i may have to wait till they are bigger. As for whether to take up Gymnastics or not, i’ll leave that up to hubby to decide. Locoroco 2

I installed LocoRoco 2 to my kid’s PSP about two weeks ago. He’s been playing LocoRoco since the day i bought the PSP for him and BOY, am i glad i bought this game. The LocoRocos are so cute that they got me hooked too. To be frank, i dont really know how to play through the whole game but my kid can, lol. He knows just where each and every “flower” is; that’s what he calls it.

With LocoRoco 2, gameplay is more or less the same. Though i seldom pick up the PSP to play, i gave it a try the other day and was glad to note that world maps are now included within the game itself and i can refer to it anytime i want to whilst playing without having to sit in front of my pc, lol. There are more mini games and the LocoRocos can now swim, and play music notes too.

If you’ve not played LocoRoco before, you are really missing out a lot on this fun and innovative game. I just cant get the LocoRoco tune out of my head now. I can even hear them sing in my dreams, damn. Oh, go on. Go get yourself a copy of the latest LocoRoco 2 and you’ll soon understand how addictively cute those colorful globs that jump, swim and sing are. On a scale of 1 to 10, i give LocoRoco 2 a 9.5!!!
